Was born in CAEN-FRANCE 4th JANUARY 1829.In 1848 Euphrasie entered the congregation of the Sisters of calvary in cuves-Haute Marne.In 1851 she pronounced her first 3 vowels Euphrasie barbier began the missionary order,Religieuses de notre dame des Missions RNDM 1861 and sent the missionaries to New Zealand in 1864.
