Saint Francis was the son of a very wealthy family, he spent his days wearing the finest silks, partying with friends while dreaming of being a knight on the battlefield. Once he grew up he achieved his dream, fighting against Perugia after the war he spent 1 year in prison which made him feel lonely. One day while praying in an crumbling old church called Saint Damiano he felt the voice of God speak to his heart he said “repair his house” for a second he thought he meant the literal stone walls so he started picking up rocks. But it meant that he had to fix himself.

My Beatitude
If I met Jesus in a park and he asked me… “Are you living by my Beatitudes? I would say…
Pennies for Hitler
The traumatising feeling of seeing my friend’s throat cut open sits with me. Destruction everywhere with red flames coming out of bombed buildings. The salty taste of my own tears as blood covers my face and sweat draws down my forehead. A horrifying sound of machine guns coming from a distance and the loud roar of a building collapsing. Looking up at the sky, pinky black smoke is filling it up with ash which then falls down like frosty snowflakes surrounding me.
Every step I take my feet burn. Tiny rocks stick in my shoe. My hands feel numb. Praying that I can get back to my flat wondering if Aunt Miriam is still alive or has the flat already been bombed? Is she stuck lying down in the rocks? Or is she in safe hands? I just hope she is still alive.
My Lenten Backpack
On our journey of Lent we have to fast for 40 days so we could turn back to God and live a Just and Holy life. The cross in my backpack represents how Jesus died on the cross for our sins, the holy Bible helps me to stay closer to God and to live on the right track. My bottle of water is to give to the people who are in need. The rest of my belongings are the things I have given up for Lent.

King Haku
For our writing this week I had to research and write a biography. Here is one I published today.
Tonga ʻUliʻuli Fifita is a Tongan professional wrestler, best known for his appearances in the World and New Japan Pro-Wrestling under the ring name Haku and his appearances with World Championship Wrestling as Meng. In the WWF, he also wrestled under the names King Tonga and King Haku.
And one more fact King Haku was born on 10 February 1959.
